Do you have a strong passion for online games? We have an opening for a Summer Intern who will gain hands-on experience in developing an overall marketing strategic plan and tactical plan for www.gamescampus.com, and launch an online video game. The person’s contribution will help set the marketing objectives of OnNet in the US. So what’s the ideal attitude in the candidate? Here’s a list: team-oriented, a go-getter, and loves games and marketing. The position reports to the marketing team and the direct supervisor will be the marketing coordinator. You’ll have the support of all of the marketing players in the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare a marketing plan and a general tactical plan for retention of gamers
• Research gaming industry data
• Formulate SWOT analysis
• Generate editorial calendar for company
• Prepare standard marketing tactical plan for a game
• Contribute to launching a brand new online game in the summer/fall

Qualifications

• Experience playing games
• Research,  social media,  web, and tech-savvy
• Basic familiarity with using Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, and Excel
• Social with great communications skills
• Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
• Basic traditional and non-traditional marketing experience with an understanding of marketing plans and tools
• Self-motivated and culturally adaptive
• Fearless in asking questions and for assistance

This position runs from June to September. (Flexible start date.) We’re looking for a person who can work 40 hour weeks from 10am - 7pm for 12 weeks. OnNet USA is located in Sunnyvale, CA.

While we can’t pay you millions we do have some cool perks. We have unlimited drinks: coffee, soda, juice, and tea. Our dress code is casual. We have company snack days on Thursdays. Once a month we have team lunches provided by the office. We’re throwing in $250 a month.  We can work with your university/college for credit. Plus, this opportunity looks awesome on your resume and you’ll be developing your marketing skills.
